Moderate Gaming Build - Did I do it right?

This being my first post I will have to say Im quite impressed with these forums and I see why I was told to check them out.

Background info: My orginal rig stopped working in August, and I figured out that it was my Mobo, but I was in the process of starting my secnd year of school. So needless to say I was not in the position to upgrade finacially, I am still a student but I was able to ear mark 1000 for an upgrade. So i went looking to get a decent but moderately priced gaming rig. With the help of some friends advice this is what I have ordered.

I also picked up a OEM version of XP, thats what this new rig will be running on so all told with shipping, and tax I got this for $976.12

So please tell me what you think, and hopefully I made the right choices for a decent midrange gaming rig.

Well, you make it sound like you've already ordered it... so there isn't much anyone can say.

Everything looks alright though, if that is the type of reply you were looking for.

are you planning on ocing?
if you wanted to save a few bucks, you could have gotten the e6550 and oc easily to 3.2 without volt increase.
Or save even more and get the e2180, equip it with a tuniq and get it over 3.0 with ease.

But if you've already ordered the items, i guess its not bad at all.

Yeah I had to already order it to take advantage of some special pricing, just wanted to make sure I was not going to run into any major problems.

I'm not looking to overclock just yet, but I probably will to stay competitve. But I mainly want this system to get me to the summer when I will have the money to upgrade alot more.
