So, what is the difference between these two boards:

EVGA 122-CK-NF63-TR - $179.99
Newegg.com - EVGA 122-CK-NF63-TR LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 - $259.99
Newegg.com - EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

Because I'm not seeing a huge difference and I would think there should be something noticeable for +$80.
The only thing I see different is VERY minimal, and it's that the NF68-A1 has an audio chipset name/brand "Azalia (HDA)".

i would want a pci-e2 mobo to match that pci-e2 8800GT tbh.

780i (DDR2) comes out VERY soon. Gigabyte 780i motherboard, the GA-780SLi-DS5.. Tri SLi.. ouch 3x8800GT :D

Why the $100 difference in price or almost Identical EVGA MOBOs?

That's true. This is speculation. I wouldn't do this for about a month so we'll see. My 8800GT comes in next Monday, the 26th :)

According to that post, the most expensive one (68-A1) is so because it it more "geared" towards a quad than a dual and it includes all cables necessary? That seems steep for +$80. I have plenty of cable lying around and I'd like to see some benches for the difference of a quad's performance on each board.
