Im running free version

Ok update. I just got back from a friends house. he happened to have an opteron 165 laying around and i bought it off of him for 50$. So no 3600 for me. I like optys better anyways. Unfortunately, this one has a horrible stepping and i cant seem to get the clock past 2.46ghz, so i will leave it at that for now. New 3dmark score little higher then my old, but still not what it should be. I guess my clock is holding me back?

Haha. And here I've been thinking how cool it is that we both got the same frickin' score to the point! Oh well.
BTW - Why aren't the other GTS's able to clock up at 700 range? I've seen it done on other forums...

That's a good one for starters. Several in the 680's and 1000's on the core/mem. While I do think I just got lucky with a good chip on mine, 700 is pretty much breakneck for me. Normally I do like to keep it at 675 except while on Crysis when I need every frame I can get.

bah this mobo won't go higher than 1500 fsb.. its being a *******... but imma keep trying.. i'll find a way ... and my blasted gtx is maxing at around 630 which sucks

i'll be investing in 2 new heatsinks when my check comes around...

dude...why is your score so low?
i had that score on xp with a dual core.

nagasama helped me oc my opty and i got it to 2.6...cant remember everything i did...since i was new at oc...just ask him.

welp.. cuz my gtx pretty much won't overclock

and this craptacular cooling won't lemme do anything over 3.3 ghz

but the score looks right to me... considering most people only get in the 15,000's range w/ a quad at about 3.6-3.8 and gtx's around 680/1000

you're ultra is going 100 mhz faster than my gtx w/ core.. and about 100 mhz faster in memory.. that makes a huge difference considering 3dmark is mostly a graphics test
