I HATE quicktime!!

ok I had WMP and I liked it a lot then i decided to go with quicktime but i didnt like it so i deleted it.. now when i download a video from online it says needs the quicktime plug in needs version 5 or later.. I dont want it anymore! how do I go back to playing vids through WMP

Are you on Windows XP or Windows Vista

Go to Control Panel, Choose Classic Control panel and then go to Add or Remove Programs then when it Loads up Go to Set programs Access Defaults

Click On custom Then it Should Slide Down..,

Then it says " Choose a Default Media Player ", Select Windows Media Player and Press ok

i did that and it didnt work, but i went into it again and it keeps reseting itself.. i make my own settings then click ok then it just resets back..

uninstall quicktime...

go get vista codeck package - the name is confusing, but the pack works for xp and vista...

all done...you can either play them via wmp or mpc (media player classic) I believe.
