Transfering Games, Music and Pictures onto external drive

My 160GB drive is getting full and i have a USB 80GB freecom USB external hard drive..would it be possible to just completely copy all my games from my hard drive onto the external one without uninstalling them?

you would have to reinstall them not matter what. to install them to the external drive when the game installs and asks you where you want to install the game to select the external drive instead of c:\program files
However, I recommend moving all your files to the external and leaving the games on the internal drive because the speed and load times of the games will be faster.

Ya, it will really hurt performance to try and run games off of a external hard drive. Put all your media (music. movies, etc) on the external and leave the games installed on your onboard hard drive.

yeah i think ill keep my games on my internal and stick music, pictures etc onto my external but i might just by a 320GB drive and reinstall all my games onto that
