another thing with the cooler you showed me, the case i am getting has the cone, but wouldnt it be pointless with that cooler?

That cone is useless to begin with.

I would just save up the extra 10 - 20$ and buy something decent. There is no point putting 350$ into upgrades that are not going to work because they're too hot.

Ya I am just going to get the $6 one. the NewEgg reviews are nothing to complain about and hey, if it doesn't do the job it only costs $6, I am willing to take that chance. My HP has the same socket and a MasterCooler I could borrow if I have to.

Well actually, this isn't an upgrade, this is the whole computer for $350 (minus the CPU I already have) and when I say budget I mean budget, I need the cheapest of the cheap at the moment.

a zalman cpns9500 looks the part but other coolers such as the Thermaltake tower are much more effective

Sounds fine. Make sure it'll fit right but otherwise go for it. I mean with shipping its $11.50 but if you can get it in a store or even with the shipping its not a whole lot to spend.

Ya it sounds like a great deal. All the reviews are good with the fit, some ppl got DOA's and others trying to overclock. But I don't plan on overclocking this comp, unless it rly needs it
