Thinking about buying laptop....

So I need a new laptop... I'm into gaming and would like to be able to play some games on it. I built my own computer and wouldn't be opposed to building a laptop if I knew where to get the parts. If you could even recomend a place that builds custom gaming laptops that would be great. Thanks a lot.

Well this would ALL depend on your budget really. I bought a new laptop before I started college in August, with gaming in mind. I bought an hp Pavilion dv9500t. It has a Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHZ, 2 GB RAM, and a nVidia 8600 256 MB. I have had NO problems with this computer and thought that $2000 with accessories was a very good deal. I know some other guys from college that bought AlienWare and said that it was well worth it...but i can't go into more detail about those because I have never owned one. I play Counter Strike Source with all settings on high and usually get 70 to 100 FPS.
