I understand the basics of a torrent, minus the tracker anyone using bit torrent shares said file at upload speeds over a course of time. The actual 'torrent' is the gateway to your file you are sharing which is on your computer.
If you take out the tracker and put it to sharing an entire folder, you end up with programs and networks such as limewire or bear share. If you say the original person who creates a file and shares it until other people do the same, it's bit torrent.
So is there a software that works the same way as bit torrent or other p2p networks?
