asus am2+ is here

im so excited for it. definitly thinking of doing that with my christmas funds.
but you know how computers go, im sorta already bored with that idea and having second thoughts. Currently i wanna build up a nice computer that i can do some gaming with, which is why im gonna get a cool 939 board and a nice x2. and have a gaming/work computer. (pull in a little extra dough doing some work for people in town.)

Seconded. You can get an AM2 board for the same price as a s939 one.

do not go 939, go am2 or am2+ asus also has a cheap am2+ board if you dont wana go crossfire.

This AM2+ excites me (lol). I'm looking forward to Quad Crossfires. Any thoughts on that?

i agree that am2 is better. i am getting am2+.

but hey lets not hate on s939, i love my DFI lanparty UT and dual core opteron 165 together. they are great. 3.1ghz no problem on air.

ya but its not future proof, why invest money on soemthign new if you dotn have anything in teh first place you much better off on a am2 board for teh same price and getting the am2 equivelant chip.i love my rig i could upgrade it to, but would it be worth it no not really.

o i know...im not telling him to downgrade....just that theres nothing wrong with s939. but sadly...it isnt future proof. and it wont last for ever. o well...agena is coming out soon.
