Dell Inspiron 1150 Problems

I just bought my Dell Inspiron 1150 really cheap off another person (75.00) thinking I would be able to fix the problem they were having. The problem is that the OEM c.d that comes with the computer is thrashed and when you turn the computer on, it tries to finish the install of that c.d. Now i do have a windows N.T c.d I might be able to use, but i cant even get past the install screen for XP OEM. Does anyone know how to fix this problem???

Get a XP CD. A NT disc wont help you at all. NT and XP are 2 different operating systems. Need a XP CD that matches you install. Either Home or Pro. That will be the only way to fix this. Finish the install.
