Core 2 Duo/Quad Temperature Guide

I was a little concerned about my temps as they were hitting 60c on load. I searched a little bit and found this guide. Hope it helps if anyone is wondering what C2D/Q temps should be.

When's the last time you've killed a CPU with heat?

If your uncomfortable with the temps then get better cooling. Simple as that.

60 is nothing to worry about...60-65 is considered safe.

Correct. TJunction max is the temp that the CPU will shut down at.

I have great cooling. My CPU isn't through the burn-in period yet, so higher temps are a little risky at this point. When I burn it in then I will be more comfortable with higher temps. This post was just informational for people to see the temp guide. I have seen a lot of questions on forums about temperature.

71 is the recommended limit on a g0

So that shows 1.372v max vcore on a Q6600. Intel says 1.50v is max.
