Re: The Tech Forums Official 3DMark06 Top List

Ya i had it running at 1.4V gonna bump it up to about 1.45 and try again. I only had about 10 minutes to mess around with it between cooking lunch and eating said lunch before i had to head back to work.

1.4 or 1.5 ain't nothing either.

Re: The Tech Forums Official 3DMark06 Top List

well 1.5v on air things will start to get toasty, even with a g0 stepping.

Re: The Tech Forums Official 3DMark06 Top List

Well for benchmarking, I don't think it's bad.

On my e6400, I had it to 1.55v for benchmarking.

SLI with core@720 and mem @1000
q6600@3798mhz
memory@844mhz 4-4-4-12

edit: for the record, the amount of voltage it takes to get past 3.6ghz is rediculous. also core 0 managed to break 80C during the cpu test, so i wont be pushing it that hard anymore. 1.475v caused a 15C difference between core 0/3 and core 1/2. I think im going to lap tommorow.
