I think that one guy... Is screwed up... Should be banned for giving useless advice.
Used to happen with my old comp ..... uninstall drivers & reinstall . Also try changing the slot ur card is plugged into.
With my last computer both pci slots and the card worked , but would stop at random.
I had a creative soundblaster something don't really remember, i had to disable the "digital sound output only" option before it would work
