Ok, I'd like to replace the LED's in my keyboard with some nice blue ones. Whats the best way of calculating the appropriate information about the LED so that suitable ones can be purchased?

it's a logitech corded deluxe access keyboard if anyone already has this information...

They use the weakest high luminousity LED's to be found :)

Just go to your local hardware store and ask for some, they must be less than 5V because thats the total Voltage for a PS/2 keyboard.

My keybaord has 140 keys approximately, so 5V/140 = 0.2V to be shared between 3 LED's.

I would take a guess at ~0.01V LED's.

those dont exist and the voltage on leds dosent really matter its the current so if u have a voltmeter set it to ohms and take out an led in ur keyboard and touch the corresponding probes of the voltmeter to the contacts on ur keyboard which will give you the current of the leds you need to buy. Oh yea and the led has to be on so if its caps lock turn caps lock on ect.
