Well, they are all PCI Express 8600 GT's..... different prices, the first 3 are 256MB cards, last 2 are 512MB cards....

All have the same max resolution, same memory bandwidth, the core & memory clocks are different on each card.

See the detailed specs for other differences, not going to list them here, because you already have the info right there in the link you provided....

XFX GeForce 8600 GT XXX Video Card - 256MB
BFG GeForce 8600 GT OC ThermoIntelligence Video Card - 256MB
BFG GeForce 8600 GT OC (OverClocked) Video Card - 256MB
Sparkle GeForce 8600 GT Video Card - 512MB
EVGA GeForce 8600 GT Video Card - 512MB

k lol i dont know what half that stuff means but going by #s and price would the EVGA 512MB have any noticable difference compared to the BFG OC ThermoIntellignce 256MB?

Well, the only different is 26Mhz on the core clock, and 256MB on the RAM... I personally wouldn't justify the %50 larger cost (before rebate) on the 512MB card.... my X1950XT on my gaming rig (before it stopped POSTing) was more than sufficient for Battlefield 2 and the like at full settings.

k ty so basicly 256mb of memory on a video card rlly doesnt make a diff enough to pay $50 for

In my opinion yes.... I have to say though that I am not familiar with the benchmarks on this particular card, so you might want to look into that, and maybe get some other opinions.

It might beat 8600GTS but I'm not sure about X1950XT

Try to get 8800GT, it beats all of these video cards

EDIT:

You can see benchmark for HD2900GT from here
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT Performance Preview

HD2900GT is slightly faster than 8600GTS and X1950pro. So I don't think that HD2900GT can beat X1950XT

8800GT completely destroys HD2900GT, and it cost a little more
