Microphone

I am looking for advice on microphones. I am starting to play multi player games and now see the need to talk with my team. I already have great headphones (Grado 125's and Bose TriPort). I found a mic online and want to know if desktop mic's are any good?

Whatever you do, do not buy your microphone from goodwill like I did, I said like darth Vader lol.
