Flash (delete a file)

Hey Guys/Girlz,
i was wondering how on earth i could get a flash movie (.swf) to delete a locl file on my computer, ie a jpeg ive tried the delete command in flash mx but cant seem to get it to work any advice anyone? im using flash mx (and i have flash 5 program to) to create the movies, and im using the latest flash 6 plugin.

i dont really understand what your saying, Do you mean that u had a flash movie and it deleted a local file?
