I know where your coming from man i really do, but overclocking is easy. Once you do it you will realise how just how easy it is and slap yourself for considering a Q6700, its a waste of money man. Save yourself the money, look around, no one here has a Q6700, theres a reason for it.

I dont know anything about that heatsink but most would recomend an Artic freezer instead. Dont know if a tuniq or thermalright could fit in that, but whoever post's next will probably tell you :)

build it yourself and save a lot of money.

And we already told you the q6700 is a waste of money. Overclocking is EXTREMELY easy and will save you LOADS of money

well just tell me, will the q6700 have petter performance than an overclocked Q6600 because money is not a problem and i dont know how to overclock

nope :)

I was bored and did this up for you
NCIX.com - Canada's Premier Computer Store - Great Technology, Service and Selection.

The parts are good however i still suggest building it yourself. You can select your keyboards and mice when you hit "continue" and add whatever else you want to it.

BTW, if money is no issue, and overclocking give you a headache just go with a Maximus formula, its idiot proof, just click on overclock in the BIOS menu and it will do everything automatically for you. But you can save some money by just learning how to overclock, its not rocket science.

P.S. i choose the artic cooling freezer pro as your cpu fan, would probably want to upgrade that if you do plan on OC'ing

k how about this

1 x PC ASSEMBLY AND TESTING (PRE-CONFIG OS IF PURCHASED)
1 x Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 Quad Core Processor LGA775 Kentsfield 2.66GHZ 1066FSB 8MB Retail Box (still dont know how to overclock so i chose this)
1 x Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R ATX LGA775 Conroe P35 DDR2 1PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 SATA RAID Sound GBLAN Motherboard (deos this allow CF/sli)
1 x Noctua NH-U12F S939 S940 AM2 LGA775 Heatsink Heatpipe Cooler W/ NF-S12 120MM Fan 8DBA
1 x Antec Nine Hundred Mid Tower Gamer Case 900 ATX 9 Drive Bay No PS Top USB2.0 1394 Audio (whats ps)
1 x Corsair CMPSU-620HX 620W ATX Triple 12V 50A 24PIN ATX Modular Power Supply 120MM Fan 2X PCI-E
1 x Samsung SH-S203B Black SATA DVD+RW 20X8X16 DVD-RW 20X6X16 DL 18X/12X INT DVD Writer OEM W/ Vista SW
1 x Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition 32BIT DVD OEM (whats oem)
1 x Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-FI Xtremegamer FATAL1TY Professional Series Sound Card 7.1 PCI Retail

k this was made in ncix pc configurer so if i buy it would they just send me all the parts to build or would they build it themselves. at the top it says 1 x PC ASSEMBLY AND TESTING (PRE-CONFIG OS IF PURCHASED) but i didnt choose ram or a G card so how will they do that?

for ram i will go
Crucial Ballistix PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL4-4-4-12 240PIN Dual Channel Memory Kit
and Graphic Card
EVGA E-GEFORCE 8800GT Superclocked 650MHZ 512MB DDR3 PCI-E Dual DVI-I HDTV Out DIRECTX10 Video Card (Superclocked?)

its for a little under 2000

that cooler doesn't even work with an Intel CPU..

depends on the overclock of the Q6600, i would suppose.
you can (obviously) overclock the 6700, too. are we talking qx6700? or just q6700? if q6700, no it is not worth 300 dollars for 2oo mhz. thats the only difference and you wont even see it. if we're talking qx6700 i would just laugh and say, "waste your (obviously)endless money, it is yours (or someone close anyway)".

just the q6700...i'd say its super moronic to get a q6700 when the q6600 is half the price and is only 266mhz slower... overclocking is super easy.. u won't even need a Voltage Increase to get it past q6700 speeds
