Yeah as said its all about the 12V rails, and the HX's are good because they carry a lot of amps across them. The 520 will be perfectly fine, not only because its a great, reliable brand. But also because your going to using newer "tech" such as the Q6600 G0 (I hope you are anyway :p you can specify on ebuyer which one you want) and the 8800GT which requires less then 8800gts. ALl cutting down on your power needs.

It'll even give you some breathing space for upgrading.

Of course if your planning on *lots* of peripherals then you might want to step up one to the 600 ^^.

1) the P35C-DS3R is distinct from the P35-DS3R by virtue of it supporting DDR3 memory. Usually plain model is cheaper.

Oddly enough, ebuyer, overclockers, scan and dabs all list the "C" model cheaper or *only* list the "C" model. Confused me mightily when I was looking lol.

Thermalright Ultra 120 (£32 ebuyer) when combined with a fan (Antec TriCool maybe?) makes for a pretty neat aftermarket HS/F.

*EDIT*

For us UK buyers, Scan, Dabs and overclockers now have the 8800GT in stock/in 2days prices are 175-180 with overclockers and dabs being cheaper atm

Best Bet EVGA?

eVGA and XFX look promising.

Ignore overclockers OC'd edition, why pay an extra £14 for something you can do (and surpass) yourself? :D

Yeah, I would recommend eVGA- great cards, great support, and they have the 90day step up programme, meaning if you feel you want, say, a GTX Ultra, you can upgrade for just the difference in price.

Shame for me they don't have a step down programme as well! :p

Yeah the Thermalright 120 extreme is very good, but also large. Because you need to buy a fan separately, its not all that cost-effective either (says muggins here who went a bought one! ). The tuniq tower 120 surrenders little in performance for less cost. In both cases, you'll have to remove the black tube on the case lid inside wall. Either way, the tuniq is prolly better for a case of the size of the centurion, just by virtue of it being shorter.

nono its still very good advice and a choice you couldn't really fault. I was considering that case a while back, and reading around, the TRU120E does apparently just fit. Either will be more than adequate for the purposes of overclocking up to, say, 3.3 Ghz+. If you weren't considering overclocking, you could prolly buy non OEM and the stock heatsink would be adequate.

OMG 8800GT for £170, i wasnt even thinking about upgrading yet but d amn even im thinking of it now, its just so tempting lol

Currently cheaper then an 8800gts, its insane. I'm getting my new rig just after xmas (or well I will when I finaly decide on it, came into some windfall, got £1k to happily spend on a PC :D) so heres hoping for some January offers or something xD
