I put a CoolerMaster Hyper Tx2 hsf on my amdx2 3800 and it has helped with the cooling. Only problem is it help one core more than the other. I use to have the same temps on the cores or with 1 degree. Now with my overclock I'm getting ~44* on core0 and ~40* on core1 according to speedfan and ~47*,~41* according to coretemp. I took the hsf off and checked the as5, it looks like it is spread good.
So which program is more accurate?
Should my temps be different?
On a skt939 x2 do the cores sit above each other or side by side?
Any other reasons this would be happening?
