Cpu Cooler a good choice?

Hi I have a 6300 that ive had for a while now and ive overclocked it before. at about 2.3 the temps were around 60 idle . I was wondering if this Zalman Cpu cooler was the way to go if I wanted to get mine around 3.0 ghz. I love the way the Zalman looks, but it's not the best. It does a very good job, but if you're looking to maximize your performance go with a TRUE120(Thermalright Ultra Extreme) or the TT120(Tuniq Tower). They are big and ugly but get the job done.

Depends on personal preference.

Heres your best bet. E6600 @ 3.2ghz on another forums. It also depends on the cooling in your case as well. Decent temps require decent airflow.

Well I have the same CPU as you and got it to 3.2GHz with 53C max load with AF7 Pro and Antec 900.

But the 900 is awesome with airflow and cooling.

i currently have the big typhoon 120vx it lowered my e6600 temps by about 12 on idle and 10 on load

Great cooler mate ! But what people suggested is better, I got that Zalman and im loving it .
