kindof a bummer bout the sli, if i ever do go sli ill have to find a new mobo >.> long ways away tho so no big deal.

its just like SLi you need a crossfire ready motherboard w/ 2,3, or 4 PCI-e x16 slots

and i was gonna go crossfire....

but i had some financial crap just the other day.. and i had to sell off some stuff.. but i'm getting the most of my money back and then some next friday

so i was wondering if i should get a gtx, ultra, or 2 gt's... also gonna be picking up a q6600 a week or two later after my graphics card... so imma be stuck on a laptop probably for the next 3 weeks

what did you do with your 2900pro?

you can get 2 512MB 2900XT's for a little more than a single Ultra

2 2900xt's would cost like 800 dollars... thats alot more than an ultra

and my 2900pro is under a sale right now...

i may just end up getting that MSI 8800gtx, its got a fairly nice clock speed and is 499

just get a single 2900XT for like $350. i mean you already flashed your 2900pro to 2900XT bios.

that setup would mop the floor (with good drivers) on a GTX or Ultra.

no.. i have to sell my 2900pro for certain reasons.... i need the money... and i don't feel like buying a 2900 again...

i've almost lost faith in these better drivers.. i didnt notice a difference between 7.9 and 7.10
