Internet only in IE

For some reason internet ONLY works in Internet explorer which is what I'm in now, It won't work for firefox, msn, gmail notifier, any program updaters!

btw im using Vista

Also whenever I open MSN or Firefox and try to use it, it just closes and says not responding. This is wierd my PC was running perfectly yesterday, I'm pretty sure its not spyware or anything I keep good care of it

As much as I dislike vista, I refrain from making comments such as that. I suggest you do the same. Mostly because its extremely unhelpful.

Anyways, have you tried Flashing your BIOS, updating NIC Driver, posting an hijackthis log, updating windows..

Hmmm WRONG. I have used Vista Ultimate for alomst a year now. No issues. Just cause you dont like it or cant figure out how to use it. Doesnt mean that others cant as well.

Firewall setup right? Either the Windows one or the 3rd party one?
