How high from the 2.66ghz stock of q6700 do you think I would be able to OC with liquid cooling compared to the max speeds you got of 3.4-3.6ghz with air cooling?

I'd say 3.6-3.9 range. 4GHz is doable on water. It's high multiplier of 10, makes it pretty easy.

Get the TRUE if you want 3.4ghz and don't waste your money on a q6700 if you haven't bought it already... Get a q6600 with TRUE and you could still get 3.4ghz on air and save $300...

itll run your power bill up and put a lot of heat into your system while keeping only one part relatively cold.

oughf.. you shot me down. I figured it would run the power bill up a little. But didn't pay attention to the amount of heat it would radiate.

Then I change my vote to water... because there are too many people using air cooling.
