or 2 x 2900xt 1gb, they have higher memory bit-interface and more VRAM, correct me if i'm wrong but doesnt this benefit playing on massive resolutions?

ya but crysis is made for nvidia cards, and im not gonna be surprised that nvidia cards have much more of a performence boots, in this game then ati cards would.

well.. ^ thats a huge possibility..

i mean there are those... designed for ATi games.. or Designed for Nvidia games... but its a safe bet that they paid em off for the title

ya but we all kno nvidia has been working with cryteck on the development for this game, even designing there gpu's around this game.

Well, a solution then, would be to buy 1xeVGA ultra, and depending upon benchmarks, either buy a second one for SLI (if it seems that this would be OK for Crysis at those resolutions) or wait for the next gen, and use the step up programme.

I agree that the Nvidia cards might be better suited to crysis, but at those resolutions (which I doubt anyone even considers planning for), it might just come down to brute force of memory being the deciding factor.
