Hi,

There i've got a MD8822 and i can not reinstall my vista on my Seagate Maxtor//Barracuda Ata driver [320 GB]
I have tried many things but none have worked so far.

When i try to install vista at the point you need to chose what driver you want to instal it on.
There is no driver (hard disk) to chose from.

I have readed around on the net and i saw something about installing a ATA driver, i've downloaded many drivers but non worked so far.
(Ive got a "Seagate" Barracuda® 7200.10 Desktop Hard Drives)
SATA 3.0Gb/s 320GB ST3320620AS
SATA 3.0Gb/s 320GB ST3320820AS

Tho i could see my ata driver a while ago in "Windows Explorer" before i formatted it and messed things up some more.
But i've got a secund ATA driver which still can be detected thro Windows Explorer
but olso can't be used as Vista carrier or XP. (caus it doesn't get detected by the installer)

Mybe its the 137GB barrier i have read here?
But still Vista is a pretty new software but it has stil much bugs.

Any idee what to do ?

Its still detected by Device management.

You dont need Drivers to run IDE/Sata drives. Windows automatically recognizes the drives and gives them default OS drivers.
Try partitioning the drives and see where you go from there

ill post some picture's to give a beter vieuw about the problem see ppl can understand it beter.

Ok i found out how to partition my 320GB driver.
Its formatting atm.
Hope this olso makes it Vista bootable.
