hello, im running vista on a compaq presario f579wm, aka f500 basicly. any ways i got 1 gig ram on it and i was wanting to know do i need more. i was wanting to know if i need more, im looking at my windows task manager and it says, physical memory: total 958, cached 526, free 0. is that bad? then below it it says kernal memory: total, 122, paged 86, nonpaged 36. what does kernal memory mean and do i need more? thanks. would buying a 2gig flash drive be a better choice then buying a 1 gig ram memory stick?
