Pls Advise on Heat Tolerance for QX6850

Help me, I'm a newbie. My QX6850 is now running between 50C and at least 60C. What is the heat tolerance for a QX6850, and at what temperature range should I be concerned? I'm going to reseat the heatsink, but assuming that doesn't help, will those temps cause my CPU to burn out much faster?

What's the max temp that you would feel comfortable running your QX6850 for extended periods?

I would try to keep it under 60C at full load. It can handle higher but its not the best thing to do.

u made a thread about this...

but do what we told u there... remove your heatsink and put new thermal paste on...

for all core 2 duos (and extremes avoid going above 60 degrees)

i've ran mine at 70*C for 6+hours
