Most would be testers, they recieve engineering samlpes way before many many many others..
But they have to sign some type of agreement stateing they won't sell it off, or something like that. (I dunnue, this guy I knew was a tester for AMD CPUs and he had a similar agreement)
 
how come CPU-Z doesn't notice it as a Core 2 Extreme? but i wonder if the lower ends are capable of something like this...
