computer/tv question

ok so ive hooked my computer up to my 50 inch tv through svideo (only option the tv had :/) so ive heard that it can cause the tv to get an image burned into the screen. just wondering if it was true or not.

its a toshiba theaterwide hd rear projection

and if it does cause burn in on the screen is it just from prolonged usage like 4 hours in a given time or will it eventually do it anyways?

No, just the same image sitting in one place. I know we have the Little Comedy Central, fox, etc logos burned into the corner of our old rear projection TV.

So the windows taskbar would burn in and if it set for days on end.
