PC wont bloody start!

I took the ram out and tried to boot, but no beeps - nothing.
I then took out the cpu (ram was also out) and tried to boot, but no beeps - nothing again.

Now im about 99.99% sure its the mobo.



Just another question, can cpu's die?

Of course they can. They're not immortal.

They usually die from either longevity or improper voltage, resulting in the CPU being fried.

By the sounds of this thread I think its the motherboard , because if your friend isn't Overclocking and upping the voltage like a maniac, then it's the motherboard. Just send it to RMA.
