What do you think of this setup?

Hi im new to the computer builders world but im really trying to learn, anyway im going to be building my own PC here as soon as i get the money, these are the items that i came up with, what do you think about it. All feedback and suggestions appreciated!

My future gaming PC:

P4 3.2E 1MB Cache Prescott Core
Asus P4R800 Mobo (No OC Features)
Sapphire Radeon X800 Pro
1GB Corsair XMS Series RAM
120GB Western Digital HD IDE 7200 RPM
600W PSU
Sound Blaster Audigy

Should be a great system. I would go with an AMD64 processor though for gaming. Get the AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Clawhammer core with the Asus K8V SE Deluxe mobo.

Yea well unfortunatly i already bought the motherboard and have had it for like a month, maybe ill upgrade to AMD another time but thanks.

Thats fine, Intel isn't really that bad, its just not what I prefer. Good luck building.

i'd say buy a northwood instead of a prescott, that's wat ppl have been telling me. and buy a 160GB since it's like a $10 difference anyways. and the 600W PSU, as long as your not gonna fill up your case w/ cathodes and fans and shit, go easy w/ it, since that radiates some heat too.
