Dual Audio output

Hallo,

I was recording something with Virtual Audio Cable, and was thinking that it would be nice to listen to the thing Im recording, as I record it. However, to record, I have to change the default output to VAC, instead of my speakers. Is it possible to output to both?

use audacity. it has an option for that

It does? I can't seem to find this option. I have checked 'Play other tracks while recording a new one' but that just plays back through my defult device (VAC)...

go to audacity preferences and change the sound back to your sound card
