8800GTS 320 SLI vs 8800 Ultra or GTX

wow you guys are just going back on forth on thisss..so stop before it gets worst.

SLI is NOT worth with the GTS, especially with the amount you'll be paying for a case,mobo,psu...

If you want to go SLI with the 8800 cards, just go with the GTX or ULTRA.

Otherwise go with one ULTRA instead of the GTX, because of how low the price is at microcenter.

ya.... SLi is nice if your at a crazy resolution....

but it also has cons.. 100% price for 50% performance, more power consumption, limit of the board selection..

your better off saving the $500 for another ultra and wait until yours cant play games on high and then buy whatever top-end card is out then

Yes, but make sure you get an SLI compatible mobo and a good psu and case to support SLI.

sli cant really be on par with either gtx or ultra, because it is kinda up and down. its not like one card where the whole card can be used fully some games wont use sli as well as others.

well thats not true... check Krazyq's benchmarks... but b1gapl said the 320mb's beat the gtx... but 1 Ultra is better for the price...
