I'm thinking about ordering these parts for my computer this week, so I was wondering if I should change anything. My main concerns are if the optical drive I selected is known to have any problems, if my power supply is good enough (I've seen people posting about making sure it has the proper rails or something, but I wasn't sure if the one I picked does), how much can I overclock the Q6600 on stock cooling, and also if the case I've chosen has good air flow, is quiet, etc. My budget is ~1650.00. This rig will be used for heavy gaming with all settings maxed at 1680 x 1050.

the antec is about 110.. sadly i bought it at bestbuy for 150! lol

and the antec has more amps than the corsair does.. along with watts

Just make sure the GTX or Ultra fits in the Aurora case.

ah, this is true, i think i read somewhere people were having a hard time with that case.. unless i'm thinking of a different case i'm not too sure.... if you do have problems.. you may have to cut the hdd cage or something like that..

i bought my thermaltake armor for the reason of it having plenty of room for anything... the coolermaster stacker 810's have plenty of room too

looks great... but why not get MX-2 Thermal Paste for the same price?

also unless you need raid step down to an p35-ds3l

and lightscribe is unnecessary unless you want it that badly... but you can save cash there

I can't afford the ultra.

I'll probably set up RAID when I get my second 320 gig later down the road so I guess I'll keep the DSR, and as for that optical drive, the main reason I got it was for the 20x I don't think I'll ever use the lightscribe feature. However you never know.
