Are you sure you wanted the GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R and not the GA-P35-DS3R?

The latter is the one that seems to be more recommended around here.

All in all it looks a lot like my soon-to-be build with a different PSU being the only main difference.

Everything looks good, but kill the P35C, because it will be some time before DDR3 is considered. The regular P35-DS3R is just fine.

so he has no worries.

i don't think the glitches or w/e are significant, DDR3 shouldn't be mainstream until 32nm anyway

Yes..but you don't need the P35C, that has DDR2 and DDR3 slots. The regular P35-DS3R is good enough, and also future ready.

So what's the difference? Is it that bad of a mobo or I just wasted $20 bucks?
