hey everybody. Im doing a project for school and i wanted some professional input. i have been instructed to build an entire network infrastructure for a large pharmaceutical company. we need to build a bunch of servers and build the scaled down infrastructure in class.
my question is, in hardware specs what is a good typical build for a domain controller and an SQL server. heres my ideas. this dose not have to be an exact science so please dont bumbard me with all kinds of questions about this "company" because this is all in theory. i just need general ideas. also the domain controller will not hold any home folders, just user profiles and active directory.
Domain Controller:
4GB RAM
intel xeon 5000
500gb raid-5
SQL server:
4GB ram
Intel Xeon 5000
1TB RAID-5
THANKS IN ADVANCE
