Buying Graphics card tonight

Hello,

Was on the forums the other day asking for advice. Was told to buy this card

Inno3D 7900GS 256MB 256bit iChill Cooler DVI PCI-E Graphics card - Ebuyer

Seemed good.

Cousins father told me this card would be better for an extra 10£, Is this true or am i far off better on the first Gfx card suggested:

For 10 more pounds, you're only getting more ram, which doesn't matter that much. But if you do feel compelled to spend more, you won't be disappointed.

Basically the same card with double the memory, if its only 10 bucks more get the one with more memory. The gainward also looks like it has a slightly faster core clock, but its out of stock in that link.

more memory = help running higher AA, higher resolutions and other memory intesive graphical settings such as the ULTRA settings in OpenGL games (uncompressed textures)

it depends, do you plan to overclock the card?

what resolution do you play at (plan to play at)

Always played at 1024 by 768... And mays well overclock?

dont bother with the 512 lol, thats an incredibly low resolution, 512 won't make a performance difference (possibly 1-3 fps...)
