I know XP would help but I don't want to dual boot. And I wish I could get over 3.0 but I am having trouble ocing. Anyhow how do I do that link thing?

when i had a score of 11,7XX on vista, my cpu was at 3.0 with my gpu at stock.

I switched to xp and my score went up to 12,388with those same settings.

when i had a score of 11,7XX on vista, my cpu was at 3.0 with my gpu at stock.

I switched to xp and my score went up to 12,388with those same settings.

I've found XP gives around 300 points more....but my SM2 and SM3 marks are the same...its the CPU score that's lower in Vista.

This isnt a whole lot improvement to my score...but its a bit higher...if its gonna cause trouble dont bother posting it up.

nah, you having a q6600 is definitely gonna keep you in the lead... i'm thinking about buying one instead of going crossfire first... because people are hitting 14000-15000 on q6600's with 1 2900xt.... my cpu is definitely bottlenecking my score... i think at most i will reach 11,000 on this cpu at 2.88/2.9 ghz.. i can't take it much higher because of the motherboard... so until i get a new cpu.. you have me beat...
