TV Video recording

Can someone list out the different ways I can record something coming on the TV from my computer...internal or external....
need to see if it will be compatible with the new pc I plan to buy...

Now I want something that would let me record from the tv, which would mean an AV or a VGA connection to my pc.....something more simpler than a TV tuner as I dont want to watch tv on the pc...just use it like a VCR or DVD recorder

Get the video capture card of your choice and you're set. Oh wait. You may want to get another hd if you plan on recording and saving to hd. Video will eat a lot of hd space.

you will definately need a larger hdd I would say an extra 500gb minimum for all of your storage needs

I'll be mostly taking two 250GB HDD...
so basically I just need KWORLD PCI Card for video capture....thanx
