I selected the 1000 watt. It's not necessary for now, but I'm thinking for the future.

I don't think a 1000W is nowhere near necessary in the future. We're heading towards computers that consume less power in the future, not more...

Well, I have no background in hardware whatsoever. Moreover, I don't know if I'd have the time as a law student.

I am completely open to alternatives to alienware... it's just a name I recalled from about 10 years ago as being decent.

you might wan't to try Dell's XPC (XPS?) gamer series of PC's

ya its XPS... but the CyberPower PC is just like building it yourself.. no modified BIOS or anything... its just pricey thats all.. heres another option:

NCIXUS.com - Great Technology, Selection and Service.

go here choose the parts we would normally recommend here.. and then there is a Assembly thing for $15 or something... get that... they'll assemble everything for you assuming its all compatible

Ok.

Alienware is def crap. I'm glad I stopped by. Much better buys elsewhere.

Thanks guys.
