Hey i just wanted to know if u can upgrade the video chip/card on my laptop?
ive heard of it but im not sure

I don't think you can, on a consumer level. Unless you really really know your way around a laptop, because the video chip is embedded into the motherboard. It's not something you can take out, like a card.

the built laptops on a pre-designed body shell, so nearly impossible unless, they had left an option of future upgrade. Pity they can built a creative sound card (external) for USB, why not an external VGA card, as PCI X16 is 500Mb/s so is nearly a USB @ 480Mb/s

There is an external PCI Express x16 device now that connects via usb 2.0 but it's very spendy. To the tune of $600-800 depending on the model, plus the video card itself.

^Jorsoft got the details of that device I would love to take a look at that.
