I don't THINK I have a PIII machine anymore... USED to have a PIII 650e machine, but something on it died, and that is when I upgraded to my current (dead) media rig with an AMD 2200 (or is it 2400)XP......

here is a pre-pentium shot for you Peter... I believe that is EDO ram...
If you look closely, the CPU is smaller than the socket, but it still works... it is a 486 I believe....

LOL. That's nice. If I was older, I'd keep a 486 computer running. The computer I describe was what I got during my "era."

Also, E_D, do you remember the ISA slots? The old days... ;)

Well, my favorite computer was:

Commodore 64
MOS Technology 6510 processor - 1 MHz
64 K RAM
VIC-II graphics chip
SID audio chip
1571 - 5 1/4 in. floppy drive
1200 Baud modem

Well, it DOES run, Windows 3.1... lol. Also, if you look closely at the lower left corner of that pic, you can see a daughter board (a.k.a. riser card) sticking out of the motherboard.... it has a few ISA slots on it.

Here is another pic for you Peter... a whole case of EDO ram... I KNEW it was somewhere.... just found it, lol.
