Could this have killed my UPS

Hey some "Friends" of mine were ****ing around with cables and stuff behind my computer unplugging everything and now my UPS doesnt work this make sense?

Sounds like the breaker might have been tripped on it. There should be a reset somewhere on it. Most UPS's are built to flip off when surged rather than burn out. Just look the model number up or if you still have the manual.
