Ok, so I'm having trouble overclocking my RAM. It is currently running at 838 on a 10:8 ratio with my CPU at 3 GHz (335x9). I've been trying to break 1000, but like I said, it's not going to well. Last night I set the ratio to 8:6...I think that's what it was anyway. I used the 2.66 option (891) for the memory multiplier, but it failed orthos at about the 25 minute mark. I had the voltage set at +2 so it was running on 2.0 volts...the normal voltage it runs at is 1.9 on auto. Timings are manual at 5-5-5-15.

Here's a pic of my current settings:

More indepth memory options: http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m117/Metal0wns/CIMG0021-1.jpg

Those options that I circled in red I just set to what it said in the left column there, because I don't really know what they do.

This is the RAM I have: Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

The voltage on the specs say 1.8~2.0, and I'm already at 2.0. I'm not really sure if I should go over that though. Obviously I wouldn't give it like 2.7 volts or something like that, but is it safe for me to set that at 2.1 or 2.2?

Those other voltages (FSB, PCI-E, and GMCH overvoltage controls) I left alone, because I don't really know what those do either or if they have any effect on the RAM.

So any help with this?

Up to the voltage to at least 2.1, preferably 2.2. They are still safe there, 2.3 is where you start treading a bit dangerous.

Well, I set it to +4 in the BIOS @ 891, but when I booted up, everest said it was running at 2.32 volts for some reason. But it still failed that at about the 3 hour mark. I was under the impression that this RAM was really overclockable, so what gives?
