System failed...

Hey guys I'm in big trouble now.
so I did foolish work, I inserted 4 pin case fan into 3 pin, so it didn't work then I removed it, when I turn the computer on now it says system failed cpu test. I m in biiiG trouble now... MOBO> P4S
333 and cpu intel 1.7 GHZ .Please help me.

reset CMOS

steps to reset CMOS

1 turn off computer
2 unplug powersupply
3 remove Motherboard battery
4 take the jumper pins on your mobo (consult your manual to find your jumpers on your mobo and put them in the 2-3 position manual will explain this also
5 put battery back in mobo
6wait about 30 seconds
move jumper back to 1-2 position

CMOS should be cleared and its safe to restart your computer.

if this doesnt work then i would suggest getting a new Proc because you may have possibly messed it up .... how the hek you did that i have no freakin idea

So jumpers are above the little switches and It was in 2 and 3. so wat should i do ?

BTW a Proc is short for Processor or CPU

and agree with nickm you probably fried something if reseting CMOS doesnt work

I guess Mobo and CPu are dead.... haha BAD LUCK...
Can I use an Ebay to buy CPu and MoBO, btw I have never used it so i need advise for ebay.
