screen resolution problem?

so I turned on my computer today, and I realized that my screen was running at 1360x1204 emoticon_012cry.png

so I did a system restore...no luck....

so I wiped and installed new video card drives from the website... still no luck

its still running at 1360x1204 emoticon_012cry.png

Any suggestions?

what is emoticon_012cry.png? What are the specs of the computer? video card? monitor? driver version number?

He meant to put up an emoticon crying.

I had that problem once...and what I did, was go to Windows Update, and updated from the Hardware Options, so my monitor would be recognized.

a) its an HIS X1950pro 512mb
b) I have tried changing in control panel
c) newest drivers from ATI/AMD website
