USB Code 10

I have a Sony Microvault Pro 8gb usb drive. It worked before but all of a sudden after a power outage the next time i tried to use it i got the Code 10: This device cannot start error. Anything i can do? or is my device fried?

yeah i thing its gotta be fried, you could RMA it

plug it in, go to My computer>Properties > hardware > device manager; find the driver for the memory stick and try uninstalling it. then take it out and plug it back in. may work.

**** shame thats a good pen too cant see how its fried though. should get a power protection thing for plugging all ur stuff into.

do you have a surge protection cable?i doubt that would have much effect as its a USB device
