$250-$300 budget PC

I'm going to build a computer for a friend..their budget is about $250 to $300.

They don't do much online. Their main uses are:
Word Processing
Scanning/Simple Image Editing
Playing Online Poker
Burning DVDs

They don't need anything too expensive but better then what they have now (1.8 Athlon XP 2200+, 736 MB RAM, etc.)

What would be a good build for them?

Note:
They do not need a monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer, speakers, etc. Just the box.

AM2 3800x2 and a ECS 4M-A, i'll sell it for 75 shipped! how's that sound to ya! though it has no onboard graphics :-x

and for 110... you can get it with my x-fi shipped too.. though the x-fi does not work with that board for some reason... but you can keep it yourself! lol

i didnt like the cooler master 534 very much thats why im returning it.
