Can't install XP pro

Hi, i have an old gateway and it won't boot from the CD rom. So what i have done is use the 6 boot disk creator microsoft has on their website. But about 80% through it gives me the same message everytime "Setup cannot copy the file: clspack.exe"

and says to retry push enter (does nothing)

to skip press escape (skips the file and about 5 seconds later brings up a whole crapload of java files it cannot copy)

and press F3 to quit Setup


I don't know what else to try, the CD is clean and its always the same file?

BTW i am trying to install this as FAT32, does that make a difference, should i try NTFS? I heard you can't go back once you do.

Also this is a 20GB drive.

try using another physical disk, the one you have may be bad.

another physical Hard Disk or another physical CD?

I think that he means physical CD, and you can always convert from FAT32 to NTFS

Your saying that the boots disks do that or the actual windows xp install does that?
